How it works

How Find my District ranks Dubai’s districts

Every district gets a score out of 100 from your answers. Budget (35 points): the published average rent or price for the home you chose, against your budget. Commute (20): straight-line distance to where you work. Household (15): family, school, villa or social-life signals of the district. Priorities (20): beach, quiet, nightlife, pets and the rest. Transport (10): metro stations if you do not want to drive.

The data behind it is the same as on the districts table: average asking rents and prices from Property Finder area insights and Bayut (September 2026). Read the methodology, or browse the best areas to live in Dubai.

Start from four things: who you live with, your budget for the home size you need, where you work and whether you drive. Families usually land in villa communities (Arabian Ranches, Dubai Hills, Mirdif, Town Square), singles and couples in metro districts (Dubai Marina, JLT, Business Bay), tighter budgets in JVC, Al Barsha, Al Nahda or Dubai South. The quiz above does this for all 65 districts.

Each district gets a score out of 100: budget fit for the home you chose (35), distance to where you work (20), fit with your household (15), your priorities (20) and transport (10). Rents and prices are the averages published by Property Finder and Bayut in September 2026.
